Bethel Baptist Church 29.03.2021

We will be open Sunday, 6/14, at 11 AM and at 6 PM. We will be limited to 60 people, so if you desire to attend and have not been contacted by one of our Deacons, please send an e-mail to [email protected] so we can get an advance count. We have specific guidelines from NY we must follow, and we can provide that information to you ahead of time. --Pastor David Rising

We will not meet at the church facility until the Southern Tier has reached Phase 4 of re-opening. Until then, services will continue to be available at bethelvestal.org and on CDs. We are working on the new protocol for when we do re-open and will make that available as soon as it is ready.

We will be continuing our absence from meeting together at the church through at least May 23. This is certainly a challenging time, but we pray that God will use it in each of our lives to draw us closer to Him and to each other.

We will not be physically meeting at our church through at least March 29 in light of the global virus concerns and assembly limitations. Sermons will be posted on our church website (bethelvestal.org) ahead of the normal Sunday service times (11 AM, 6 PM).

In light of the medical issue that is dominating the news and causing people to make major routine changes, I asked Dr. Harding if he could give us some advice regarding our upcoming church meetings. His advice was simple: 'The big thing is just common sense. If you are sick, especially with a fever, stay home. That should be true now and anytime.' We do plan to hold our regular Sunday services, and so use your own judgment as to whether it is appropriate for you to attend or not. If you are concerned about bodily contact and refrain from shaking hands, etc, we will all completely understand and not be offended.
