Updated - Now, we are canceling due to the snow and extreme cold temps. These conditions are not suitable for play on the fields. Only Kingergarten Group 3 Rec is canceled for tonight. The fields do not have standing water, so they remain open. Academy practices are on unless you have heard otherwise from your coach. Thank you!

The Bethlehem Soccer Club is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Fall Recreation Program. The club has worked hard to create a safe recreational program for the children in our community. The program this fall will be different from years past due to the guidelines set forth by both New York State and the ENYYSA, our soccer governing body. Please take a moment to review the following list of changes which have been implemented for the fall: The program... will be 6 weeks in duration, beginning on Monday, September 21st and ending on Saturday, October 31st. The cost of the program has been decreased to $65.00. Players will be assigned to age groups which will meet 1 time per week according to the following schedule: Monday - Pre-Kindergarten - 5:15pm 6:30pm Tuesday - 1st Grade - 5:15pm 6:30pm Wednesday - Kindergarten - 5:15pm 6:30pm Thursday - 6, 7, 8 Grades - 5:15pm 6:30pm Saturday - 2nd & 3rd Grades - 9:00am 10:15am - 4th & 5th Grades - 11:00am 12:15pm All age groups will be capped at a predetermined # of players. Please understand this is a necessity to ensure the program adheres to the guidelines which have been set forth. There will be a waitlist for each age group after the limit has been reached. Weekly sessions will be led by BSC Staff Coaches and assisted by parent volunteers. Each session will consist of a practice period as well as small sided games within the group. There are a few additional items regarding the program directly related to COVID 19 mitigation protocols which have been mandated and are important to understand prior to registering for the program. Players and parent volunteers will be required to complete and turn in the BSC Communicable Disease/COVID-19 Release of liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement prior to initial participation. Players and parent volunteers will be required to log into and complete our online Health Survey the day of any activity prior to arrival at the soccerplex. There will be a limit of one (1) parent/spectator at this time. No other activity is permitted on the site; this includes parents/siblings/friends playing or walking in other areas of the facility during practices. Coaches and parent volunteers will be required to wear masks during the training sessions. The players will not be required to wear masks during the sessions; however, it is perfectly fine to wear one if they wish. Each child will need to bring their own soccer ball, shin guards and water bottle. Hand Sanitizer will be available at all fields. Registrants will receive an email approximately 1 week prior to their first practice confirming their spot and providing additional details regarding the program.

Families, The Bethlehem Soccer Club (BSC) is interested in offering a Fall soccer program for children who are not participating in our Academy Program. The current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic precludes the BSC from offering our traditional Fall Recreation League. In keeping with the guidelines established by NYS, the CDC, and ENYSSA, the BSC is committed to offering the youth in the local community a soccer opportunity this Fall. This program's format will... differ from what we have offered in the past and may include limiting the number of registrants for a variety of reasons. As we are in the final planning stages, we need your help. Please complete the survey to indicate your family's interest in participating in the Fall Soccer Program this year. Your answers will assist us in determining the final format to provide a quality program which is safe for both players and families. Please know that participation in this survey is non-binding, however we are requesting a return email so we may notify interested participants directly. Fall Rec Update - We do not feel our traditional Fall Rec program is the right thing to do at this time due to gathering limits. We are trying to work out other options. We plan to send an interest survey very soon to previously registered Rec families and we will post it here. Please stay tuned for that survey so you can help us plan for alternative program offerings.

The club is extremely excited to be back on the fields providing an opportunity for our teams and players to train and compete. While it is great that we can return to the fields, the club’s priority is providing an environment and activities which are as safe as possible for all. If you missed it.........We have now added a set of tryouts for the U15-U19 boys age groups. The available dates for these tryouts are listed below. We are asking you to select as many nights as you are available so we can determine the evenings with the best attendance for these groups. We may not hold tryouts all four nights. Friday, August 14th Monday, August 17th Tuesday, August 18th... Wednesday, August 19th There are a few important things to note regarding these specific tryouts: *Session times are to-be-determined due group size limitations. You will be notified the evening before each session for your scheduled time. *You must register online for the tryouts using the link provided. If you are interested in attending the first session on Friday, August 14th you must register by Wednesday, August 12th. *Please note there is no cost associated with registration for the tryouts and is not the same as registering for the Academy Program. *You will not be allowed to attend tryouts unless you are registered through the online system. *Once you are registered online the club will send you additional information regarding the protocols that will need to be followed as dictated by New York State and ENYYSA. http://www.bscny.org/site/
