Looking to run your program or camp at a Town of Bethlehem park? The Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting proposals for programs or camps that would like to use park space for spring and/or summer 2022. Thank you to everyone who provided a trunk and also all of the trick or treaters for our Annual Trunk or Treat event! Fun was had by all! And thank you to our partner the Bethlehem Public Library
Our Halloween Movie Night was a great success! A special thank you to local Cub Scouts pack 232 and 272 for making the fire and providing fire safety/supervision for s’mores making and a big thank you to Bounce A Lot 'N More for providing the big screen!
We are getting ready for the Trunk or Treat Event today! The event is from 4-6 PM at the Elm Avenue Park. We hope to see you there!
Don’t miss out on our next Wilderness Exploration classes starting next week! Children in grades 3-8 will hike the trails at Elm Avenue Park, explore the stream, learn about and set up shelters, practice knots and much more in this nature-based class. Sticks, Stories & S'mores, Oh My! Students in grades 5-9 can join in the fun over winter break as outdoor enthusiast, Kat Fitzpatrick will teach participants the ins and outs of building a campfire in this hands-on class. There will be hikes to hunt for sticks & kindling, friendly competitions to build the best "house" for fires, and, on the last day of class, participant's will enjoy s'mores and story-telling around their very own campfire. Looking for a safe and fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon? Register for one of our Sunday Funday classes!
