Congrats to Paige Wygodzki on winning the L3 Sectional Girls 14s at Bogota Raquet Club in New Jersey.
Check out the latest article from Steve Kaplan!
The latest article from our Steve Kaplan deals with the question of how many coaches are good for a tennis player. Junior tennis is an individual sport and coaches and their students are not always "team players." Moreover, it’s a sacrifice for coaches to share the glory and profit of a student’s success...Despite this resistance, an absolute multiple coach prohibition is a concept disconnected from reality because we don't live in an enlightenment bubble, information is inevitable and we are all subject to ideas from varied source."

Outdoor singles tennis is officially returning May 15th in New York! Capture the moment you first open up that can of tennis balls, step out onto the court and ...hit a winner with pictures and video, and post with #NYBackInTheSwing. We may choose your video/picture to repost! Read the USTA's Playing Tennis Safely guidelines, which can be found at usta.com/EasternCovidUpdates, as well as cdc.gov/coronavirus Local municipalities may still have restricted access to parks. Check local laws prior to hitting the court.
Congratulations to Bethpage Park Tennis players Jacqueline Bukzin (Amherst) and Alexa Goetz (Emory) on being named 2020 ITA Division III All-Americans in both Singles and Doubles.
