Good Morning everyone!! Happy to share that we are doing well at Betsy Ross! There are no cases of the Coronavirus. Residents are doing well amidst the lockd...own. If you wish to communicate with a loved one at the facility, we recommend that you contact our Activities Department for assistance. We currently have accounts for Facetime, Zoom, Facebook Messenger and obtaining others if needed is easy. We continue to ask for patience when calling our facility. We receive hundreds of calls per day and we are trying to prioritize and get back to everyone in a timely manner. Stay well and May God Bless us All!!! See more

Hello again all!! Wanted to pass along that our residents are still doing well during this period of lock down. I also wanted to reassure everyone that we are ...still Covid-19 free at the facility (Thankfully!!!). We are following all the recommendations by the CDC and the NYS Department of Health. At the direction of the NYS Department of Health (DOH) we did perform a test for COVID-19 recently. All tests have been NEGATIVE!!! Any staff who may have come in contact with a suspected or confirmed case are closely monitored and in some instances kept away for 14 days. All those cases are reported immediately to the DOH for follow up. We are still keeping new admissions in a separate area of the facility for 14 days; away from other residents in order to protect residents in the facility. We will be as transparent as possible during this challenging time without violating resident and staff rights. May God Bless us all!

Hello all and we at Betsy Ross hope you are doing well. We continue to keep our residents safe from the ongoing Coronavirus. We have no cases in the facility ...and we are doing everything in our power to keep it out! We have made a dedicated area in the facility where we will admit residents to who come either from another facility or from home. This area will allow us to keep NEW residents away from the rest of the residents for 14 days to ensure that any new residents do not carry the Coronavirus. This area is able to be essentially sealed off from the rest of the facility until that 14 day time frame passes. This is another recommendation from the CDC that we have implemented to keep residents and staff safe. Hello friends and apologies for not updating with more frequency. Our Director of Nursing normally updates but with everything going on he the Administrator and... the Assistant Director of Nursing have been on the phone and web conferences with the Department of Health and the CDC making sure we are doing all we need to do to protect our residents and staff. We assure you all that things are going well at Betsy Ross. Our measures we have implemented has prevented the Coronavirus from coming into the facility. Our housekeeping staff continue to do a remarkable job cleaning and bleaching all high touch surfaces. We are having our residents utilize the courtyard while practicing social distancing! So far all is well. We pray for our friends and neighbors who are battling this. May God bless us all. See more

As cases of the Coronavirus continue to rise across the country, state and locality please be assured that we at Betsy Ross are doing everything we can to preve...nt it's entry into our facility. We remain committed to the care of your loved ones and our staff. We continue to dialogue with state and local health departments as well as the CDC. Activities Update: We are adjusting the calendar day by day. Today we are continuing with Catholic Mass through audio service and BINGO will run as scheduled. ...Skype/Facetime. For those that would like to video chat with a family member please call the activities department! We value the strong family bonds our residents and families have and would like to continue to foster your relationships in the best way we can through these difficult circumstances. See more

Our residents continue to do well with the social distancing. Housekeeping continues to bleach all high touch surfaces. Please continue to reach out to your loved ones! They need the support! I wanted to pass along some Good news! Our Star Rating came out today and Betsy Ross has increased to 3 stars with a 5 star Quality Measure rating. When our ...administrative team started we were 1 and 2 stars across the board. In a little over a year our numbers have increased substantially! I wanted to update especially our families: We have SKYPE in place. You can SKYPE with your loved ones at Betsy Ross. I would recommend calling the facility be...tween 8am-4pm and ask to speak with one of our Activities Professionals and they can assist you! We are screening ALL staff who enter the building to make sure staff do not have a fever. Our dedicated staff continue to put Our Residents First!
