Our members LOVE hands on activities. One of our older members created a Lego Club complete with weekly challenges. Some of these challenges include building cars, boats, member choice and video game characters. We are so happy that our club is not only able to provide awesome programming for members but also opportunities for leadership as well. We are asking you to consider supporting our Club through Giving Tuesday, Today. 100% of your donation will be used to purchase STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) equipment for our clubhouses. Your donation will help our Club provide activities to increase members' academic abilities. Our goal: to raise $1,500 to purchase new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) equipment for our clubhouses. ... Participating in STEAM activities outside of school helps youth to apply their knowledge to real-life situations. Due to COVID-19, members' hands-on experiences in school have been more limited than ever before. Our hope is by purchasing STEAM equipment for our programs members will be able to apply their knowledge directly during socially distanced STEAM activities.
