The weekend is fast approaching, and we got you covered with plans! Our quiche is perfect for a lovely brunch from the comfort of your own home. Entertain guests, or have a delicious family meal without the prepwork or mess. Photocred: @lizclayman
To make our limited edition holiday challah, we take classic fortified dough and swirl it with cider-soaked cranberries and toasted pistachios. It's rich and sweet in all the right ways, but still traditional enough to please the pickiest bubbe. Available in store or for local delivery. Link in bio to order online.
Happy Labor Day! We hope you get a chance to enjoy this beautiful weather.
Are you ready for that Labor Day weekend BBQ? If not, don't worry our shops are fully stocked with all the grilling essentials. We have blue cheese sausages from @jasperhillfarm, fresh chorizo from @jacuterie , mustard from @tinmustard in Brooklyn, @hostahill sauerkraut, and our very own pain au lait buns. Available for pick-up at both locations: Bien Cuit Smith - 120 Smith Street (btw Dean and Pacific) Bien Cuit Franklin - 721 Franklin Ave (btw Park Pl. and Sterling)
Summer is winding down, but our spritzers are here to stay! We've been busy experimenting with new flavors and are excited to introduce Apricot White Pepper Rose. Both our Franklin Ave. and Smith St. shops have them on the menu, so stop in and let us know what you think.
Hey Crown Heights, need a coffee break? The garden at our Franklin Avenue shop is open and there's plenty of space and shade. Visit us for an iced coffee and a salted chocolate buckwheat cookie to get your week started right!
Sunflower-rye has been a staple since we opened back in 2011. It’s a combination of white and dark rye flours with roasted sunflower seeds that add a rich, savory nuttiness. Unlike most traditional rye breads, it doesn’t contain caraway seeds, which makes it a crowd pleaser even among people who don’t usually like rye. It also travels beautifully, so we always recommend it for nationwide shipping.
Our Almond Croissants have become a local favorite here in New York. It seems flaky pastry with an almond-sugar filling make for a delicious combination. If that isnt enough for you, we also have a chocolate option! Come grab one today and let us know what you think.
Back by popular demand, we're making fresh challah bread every Friday! This enriched loaf uses honey and egg in the fermenting process for its signature sweet flavor and yellow hue. Place an order either online or in person before Thursday to make sure you get one before they sell out. #biencuit
We've got about three more weeks of blackberry season here in the Northeast. Why not celebrate by making blackeberry lemon scones? Chef Zach's recipe balances buttery pastry with sweet, jammy berries and candied lemon peel that we could eat all day long. Recipe is in our link in the bio. #biencuit
It's almost Friday, which means you should treat yourself! Our Strawberry Lemon Verbena Entremet is one of the newest items on our Summer seasonal menu. This multilayered strawberry mousse cake with lemon verbena has just the right combination of sweet and tart. It's sure to brighten up your day and carry you into the weekend.
Start your week off right with lunch Bien Cuit style! Come grab a bite to-go at Smith St. or stay a little in our backyard at Franklin Ave. (at a safe distance of course!) Both locations have a beautiful assortment of sandwiches, tartines, quiches, beverages, and pastries for dessert!
