Good evening! We would like to start by saying thank you to all of our loyal customers who have been so supportive of us during this unique time. We are so glad to see so many familiar faces back again for another season. We would like to remind you all of a few guidelines we have put in place to ensure we are supporting best practices put in place by the NYS government due to Covid-19. We are offering orders for TAKE OUT ONLY. With that being said, all items must be consumed... either INSIDE of your vehicles or off the Big Sings property. Please do not sit in your trunks, bring folding chairs, stand in our side/back lawn or patio. These precautions are put into place to ensure the safety of all of our customers. Since we are only able to provide take out orders, all walkers or bikers will have to enjoy their orders off of Big Sings property. If you are arriving as a group, we are still encouraging that only one member of that group is coming up to order and delivering it to the remaining members in the car. We would be happy to assist you with this if needed - please just ask! If all members need to come into line, we are asking that you maintain your group on one red X and adhere to the 6 foot social distancing measures put in place. If your party is unable to maintain the 6 foot social distancing measure, they need to be spread among multiple red X's in our line. Those unable to adhere to this will be refused service. We are also encouraging wearing a mask when ordering and picking up items to ensure the safety of our employees and other customers. We are so happy to hear from so many of you over your excitement of us being open. We love being a safe and happy place in our community, and want to continue to provide some sweetness into your days. Good afternoon! We wanted to share a reminder about our current practices in the era of COVID-19 as school is letting out and that summer heat may be leading our customers to come out for some refreshing treats. We have been in constant contact with Erie County Health Dept since the very beginning of COVID-19. We asked when it would be safe for us to open and what we could do to maintain the utmost in health and safety for our customers and employees. We have removed our outs...ide seating and have not put it back in place even though it is now permitted. We will continue to evaluate the potential for returning our outdoor seating and will announce any changes to this practice. Our employees wear masks and gloves and we have installed plastic barriers on our ordering and serving windows. We have limited our order taking to two at a time in order to control the flow of our order line, with separate windows for order and pick up and employees taking necessary precautions if they need to go from taking orders to working with products. Our order line stations exceed the required minimum of 6ft distancing. Per Erie County Health Department guidelines- customers are not required to wear masks while in line if they are in a group of fewer than 10 people, but we are STRONGLY ENCOURAGING that our customers wear masks while waiting in line. If folks arrive in a vehicle or walk or ride bikes there together they are allowed to eat their desserts on our property as long as they maintain proper social distancing from other people not in their group. Groups are limited to less than 10 people. Please help us in not only abiding by these guidelines but sharing with those who may not see this, and with young children and teenagers who may be coming without parents or guardians. We hope this reassures that we have taken every step necessary to exceed the health department requirements.

Good morning - we first off wanted to thank our customers for their enthusiasm on our opening day. That being said, we need to stress the importance of strictly adhering to the 6-feet social distancing measures we have put into place while waiting to order and to pick up your order, and asking our customers to abide by staff requests if they feel you are not adhering to these measures. To help keep our customers safe, we are making the following additions to our procedures p...osted yesterday: - We have posted a picture of our menu and are asking that you have ONLY ONE member of your party come up to order and receive your items. Write things down on a piece of paper or use a notes app/text message to gather everyone's requests. If you have a large order, we will assist you in carrying your order to your vehicle. This is to reduce the number of customers in line to order and pick up. Please be patient as you wait, as it may take us longer than normal to move people through the line. - For parents and older children - please stress to the younger children in your family the importance of the mandatory 6-ft social distancing requirements. If this is not being adhered to by everyone, they will be refused service. - Our staff will be strictly enforcing these social distancing measures, so we ask that you please listen and take direction as it is given. This is to keep everyone safe and healthy. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. - The Singer Family and Big Sings staff

To our loyal customers, It is with great consideration, caution, and preparation that we have decided that we will be open for business effective April 2, 2020. We have done extensive preparation and training with our staff and at our location to be able to provide you with your favorite sweet treats in the safest manner possible, given the current circumstances. Please read below for the changes we are making to our operations to best serve our community. We will be open for... take-out only, daily from 2:00pm-8:00pm. We have removed all options for seating from our premises. Orders can be served in the to-go trays we have available so as to limit contact, and to make it easy for you to transport your items home. We have created large Xs (indicated in red tape) on the concrete in front of the order and pickup windows to indicate a 6-feet measure to reflect social distancing standards. These markers will extend back down our patio if there are multiple customers waiting to order at the same time. We ask that you abide by these measures, and our staff will be enforcing. If there are other customers taking up those spots, we ask that you wait in your vehicle until a spot on the patio becomes available. Upon receiving your orders, we ask that you return to your vehicle or homes to enjoy your treats. There should be no congregating around the building unless you are waiting to order, waiting to pick up your order, AND should still continue to maintain proper social distancing. We have always taken pride in our commitment to cleanliness and serving you the best product, and have taken our standards to an even higher level with increased frequency of sanitizing and cleaning. We also have installed plexiglass shields on both our order and pickup windows, to protect both our staff and our customers. We are encouraging our customers to use credit card payments to again limit contact but will continue to accept cash. We will have two people scheduled at all times one dedicated to taking orders, the other to handling food. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have. Continue to check our social media for updates as changes or new guidance emerges. The Singer family and the rest of the staff have been working diligently to meet the highest safety standards and, as always, look forward to serving you this season.
