Some new friends we have met over the last couple of weeks. Sorry for the delay in posting!

We want to express our condolences to Dr Hamblin and her family in the loss of her Grandma Josie. We are grateful to everyone who has reached out and offered condolences. Dr Hamblin is only taking off the few hours for calling hours Friday evening and for a private funeral Saturday morning. We are grateful to the clients that have been understanding, and saddened by the clients who have taken this most emotional time to express their displeasure at our schedules having to be altered with short notice due to the death of a family member. Dr Hamblin’s commitment to her patients and clients goes above and beyond, as she is taking no personal bereavement time, in order to inconvenience as few clients as possible. When you don’t want to hear the doctor’s recommendations

We know that it is hard having curbside service and wondering if your pet is nervous in the clinic without you. Today we neutered this handsome guy. After he recovered from surgery storms came through, and he was nervous. So Dr Hamblin got in his kennel to help make him feel safe. This is how our team treats your pet, how we would want our own treated.

We are making a change to our Saturday appointments. In an effort to catch up our routine appointments we will now be seeing only ROUTINE appointments on our Saturday mornings. All sick pets will be referred to local ER/Urgent care facilities or scheduled in the upcoming week. If your pet is scheduled for a Saturday appointment and becomes ill they will need to reschedule.

Our staff has been working very hard throughout this pandemic, they have done an amazing job, but we are tired. We are going to take a few days off to relax and renew so that we can continue to offer our best selves to our patients and their families. Our office will be closed Thursday Sept 3-Tuesday Sept 8. We will not be available via email or social media during this time also. Please be respectful that we need a break. Update on our friend Sprocket

We met this sweet handsome boy yesterday. His care will be extensive. If you are able please consider donating to Paws Across Oswego County for his care.

We want to make everyone aware that we are booking into mid-September for our routine appointments. We save times everyday for urgent appointments for sick patients, but even those are filling quickly. It is very important to us that we be able to give each of our patients/clients our best care. If we over extend ourselves then everyone suffers. We understand that this is a common problem and many veterinary clinics are maxed out. Unfortunately we cannot take new clients at this time. We wish we could see everyone but we just cannot. Please be patient with our staff and understand that they are working extra hours and extra hard with this extremely busy schedule. We apologize that we cannot see everyone, but (again) we strive to give our patients the best care and need to set boundaries in order to continue that level of care.

Our dog is still missing Harris Hill Rd-big Black lab. Her name is Jade but she’ll probably run from you. She’s the best girl-very friendly, though. Took of...f chasing another dog this morning while Lily was trying to get her on her run. If anyone sees her, gets her in your car, anything-please message me ASAP! We just want her home. She’s never been loose this long in all of the years we have had her. See more
