I'm loving my results from mixing coco coir with Burpee organic potting soil. Back when I first started, I did an experiment to find the best, yet most economical way to grow microgreens and I found that straight up coco coir was the best, or at least equivalent, in terms of yield when compared soil. Now that I have a couple of more years of experience, the yield may be equivalent but the color and taste are miles apart. I'm still trying to be as economical as possible so I've settled on a mix of 18.7 gallons of coco coir to16 quarts of the potting mix . Now I just need to find a good method to get the hulls off If you want to enjoy free delivery of your very own, nutritious, chlorophyll rich and delicious microgreens... and are in a 10 mile radius of Sparkill NY... call us at: 860-514-0479
