Erie County has reported a problem where AT&T Mobility customers may have difficulty calling 911. If you encounter this problem, please call 716 648-5111 (the n...on-emergency number) to report an emergency in the town of Hamburg, or it’s villages. It’s worth adding our number to your list of favorites! 911 is still the number you should always dial to report an emergency that requires immediate police, fire, or emergency medical services.

Happy Halloween! We hope you and your families have a safe and spooktacular good time today. Don’t forget to stop by our fire hall while you’re out trick or treating. We’ll be handing out candy from 5-8 tonight.

School is open and it’s once again ‘don’t run over the crossing guard season.’ School starts at 7:45am and ends at 1:15pm for walkers and 1:45pm for buses. Traf...fic will be congested during these times as most parents are driving their children to school. Please drive carefully around the school or avoid the school area during these times. Thank you. Tonight, our department had the pleasure of touring and taking a ride on the Buffalo Fire Department’s E.M. Cotter fire boat. It was a pleasure to see this boat in person and it was a beautiful night to ride around Lake Erie and Buffalo’s harbor.

In keeping with tradition, despite COVID and many other challenges he has faced in service to the community, it was the privilege and honor of Rob (President) and Greg (Vice President)- a man who can ring the bell with his own strength and privilege- to present Joe Arnst of the Village of Blasdell a pin noting his service to the Village of Blasdell and all those he encounters with his 40 Year Service Pin signifying the commitment in his heart for his family and community.
