Dear Parents/Guardians, In November, 2019, with support from the Rotary Club, BCS established a Backpack Program, in coordination with Food Link, serving famili...es in need at the Elementary school. At this time when so many families have been impacted by the Coronavirus Pandemic, we are able to continue to expand this program with generous support from school staff, community members and local agencies. The Backpack Program is open to any family experiencing hardship that may need additional food. The Backpack Program provides children in need with bags of kid friendly nutritious food on weekends and holidays. If you are interested in participating in the program at this time, please email [email protected]. Please include your child’s name, age and grade level in the email. Backpack bags will be available for pick up Fridays, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Steele Insurance Agency building, 55 State Street, Bloomfield, at the front parking lot entrance.
