Rogue Of Rainbow Farm MH *** X Ch Blucollars Hocus Pocus RE UD MH D.O.B. 12/12/2011 HEALTH CLEARANCES... OFA Hips: CB-10667E37M-VPI - Excellent / OFA Elbows: CB-EL2524M37-VPI - Normal / Degenerative Myelopathy: Clear / Exercise-Induced Collapse: Clear / Ectodermal Dysplasia: Clear / Progressive Retinal Atrophy: Clear / Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration: Clear /// Hilda is a moderately sized bitch standing at about 24 inches and weighing 65 lbs. She has a wonderful coat, nice conformation and moves beautifully. She has been very successful in the obedience ring, confirmation ring and also in the hunt test venue. She trains well, but needs a softer touch when corrections are involved and although she generally is a team player, there have been times, in the field, when she has thought she should "take matters into her own paws"! She is a very sweet girl who loves to be cuddled but doesn't always enjoy sharing affection and/or toys with other dogs.

Two weekends ago Hilda passed another master test at Black Creek Ret. Clubs HT (sorry, no pictures). This weekend she passed another at Finger Lakes Ret. Club. ...Meanwhile, Jack (AKA - Sir-Breaks-alot) didn't break, but needed a handle in the first series and decided to go into "self employment" mode! So, now the siblings both need one more pass for their titles, wonder who will get it first! LOL See more

Blucollar Chesapeakes is a small, hobby kennel located in the Capital District area of New York state. Our main interest is training and competing with our Chesapeake Bay retrievers in AKC hunt tests, field trials, obedience trials and breed confirmation. This leaves limited time to raise litters of puppies, so we generally only have a litter every couple of years. When we do plan a litter, our goal is to breed quality Chesapeake Bay retrievers that are sound in temperament and free from genetic diseases, while possessing strong natural hunting/retrieving instincts along with an independent, yet trainable, personality. We strive to produce athletic dogs that, with the proper training, can be successful in a variety of competitive venues, hunt by your side all day long, and most importantly, are wonderful family companions.
