We celebrate freedom and commemorate June 19th 1865, the day in our nation’s history when slaves were officially and finally emancipated. Juneteenth marks the dawn of a new chapter in American and Black History and is a day for celebration, education, and connection. BLUEPRINTNYC celebrates and recognizes Juneteenth as a national holiday and moving forward our offices will be closed for a paid holiday to observe this special and critical day. We recognize that with every mile...stone of progress, new challenges present themselves. We know we don’t have all the answers, but are learning and educating ourselves everyday. It is with humility that we endeavor to carry out the meaning and purpose of what today represents everyday, which is why BLUEPRINTNYC has created an internal initiative pledging our purpose and devoting our lives to the freedoms of those who still face prejudice and injustice today. Juneteenth serves as a reminder to all of us that nobody is free until everybody is free. See more

To anyone who’s ever been persecuted because of the color of their skin we stand with you. We will not sit idly by while our values and beliefs are threatened. We will stand up for what we believe in and stand by those who we believe in. That means action! BLUEPRINTNYC is in the process of gathering our team to leverage our resources and diversity to help bring story and truth to messages that matter in this fight. We’re hurting together. We’ll heal together. We stand together. Stay tuned here as our plan of action develops.

How are your teams staying connected during the WFH requirements? In times like these, communication and engagement are more important than ever! As audience advocates and engagement experts we’re here to help. We’re eager to empower your teams by providing the proper resources, strategies, and mindset. Here’s a playful example of what the BPNYC team is doing internally to keep each other inspired and motivated while staying safe and healthy.

Our team spent the evening packing gift bags for teens participating in the Free Arts NYC Teen Arts Program! We came together as a team and do something for our community. We have had previous connections with the Teen Arts Program- two summer interns and interactive office visits- which is why we are excited to continue our partnership with Free Arts. These gift bags include art supplies that they can use in the program, help them grow their art skills and creativity which will prepare them for college and careers in the arts!

We are so excited to welcome a baby in 2020 to the BlueprintNYC family! Congratulations to Nani and Christian as they create a wonderful family together. We can't wait to shower their daughter with love!
