Have you tried our homegrown popcorn? It is dried and ready for popping using a hot air popper, pan or microwave. Stocked up on some for winter, when properly stored it will have good popping quality for several years & makes a fun gift too! What makes popcorn pop? We’re supposed to try to learn something new every day, right? Moisture in the kernel is converted to steam when heated, causing the seed to explode and turn itself inside out. Popcorn is whole grain and high fiber. Did you know there are other grains that pop as well? Wild rice, quinoa & sorghum can be popped as well, each having their own unique flavor. Our homegrown popcorn is $1 an ear

Birdhouse gourds! If you’ve been to craft fairs you’ve probably seen some really cool things made from the dried version of these gourds. Enjoy them as a decoration now and then they will dry to have a hard shell in a few months time. If you’re looking for gourds that are already dried and ready to craft we have those too! #birdhousegourds #gourds #saugerties #saugertiesny #kingston #kingstonny #woodstock #woodstockny #ulster #ulstercounty #catskills #catskillsny #upstateny #ulstercountyfarm #hudsonvalleyfarm #hudsonvalley #saugertiestourism #dutchesscounty #greenecounty

Preserving the flavor of summer We are still picking homegrown sweet corn, picked fresh daily Freezing corn is pretty easy! Boil for 3 minutes, remove to cool, slice kernels off of the cob, and transfer to freezer bags. We love having flavorful corn to add to soups, stews, or just to have as a side. Preorder a bag (55 ears) by sending us a message. We are hoping to be picking corn for about another week and a half
