In addition to a dozen shelves of books on New York City food and restaurants, I have a sweet selection of books about the city itself. Berenice Abbott’s Changing New York is the one that, fifty years ago, made me fall in love with the city.

A rare find! The Ballet Cook Book by Tanaquil LeClercq (1966). The celebrated dancer (and Balanchine’s fourth wife) collected recipes and stories from the likes of Edward Villella, Maria Tallchief, Rudolf Nureyev, Jacques D’Amboise, and, of course, Mr. B himself. Condition as shownapparently one of the mice from The Nutcracker thought the jacket was a snack. $350. Please call or e if interested.
