Posting again so the info is out there: We are OPEN and operating business as usual. You may have recently seen a press release that has come out from the Genesee County Health Department reporting that someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 had been at Bourbon and Burger between the dates of 11/5/20 and 11/9/20. We would like to let you know that the aforementioned individual was NOT at Bourbon and Burger after testing positive and we have no concrete knowledge that th...ey were positive during the time that they were at Bourbon nor were they symptomatic at the time that they were at Bourbon. They also had not been in Bourbon for days at the time of testing and have not been back since as they would obviously have been put on mandatory quarantine. At this time, the Genesee County Health Department is not asking us to have our employees be tested due to exposure, which leads us to believe that they do not believe our employees were exposed to a positive individual. We believe that they (understandably) released the press release as a precautionary measure. We take this very seriously and of course we will continue to utilize our protocols that are in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and continue to urge anyone who feels that they are having any symptoms or who worries that they have been exposed to a positive individual to seek out testing or medical advice.
