Good Afternoon Dana and Myself just wanted to put out a statement about our center Bowl Long Island at Patchogue Over that last few weeks and especially the l...ast few days we have heard the rumors being spread from bowlers that we are closing for good. We are hear to say that is NOT TRUE at all. What is true is unfortunately for our center is our wood roof has broken trusses and they need to be repaired and will be repaired but the job is enormous. So unfortunately we will not be able to be open for time being. When we get more of a timeline of when we can reopen we will absolutely share that with everyone. Dana and myself hope everyone continues to be safe and healthy during these crazy times. We also want to thank everyone and I mean everyone for the out pouring of support and love we have received from our great customers and we can’t wait to be back better than ever. You can leave your equipment at the center also. To Our Bowl Long Island Family, We hope that you and your families have remained safe throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. During COVID-19 we had a roof inspection and it was determined that the roof needed repair. We are now dealing with insurance companies and engineers to repair the roof. As of today, August 14th, 2020 we received word as an industry that we can reopen on Monday August 17th, 2020. Due to the current situation, we are unable to give a timeline for our reop...ening. We look forward to when we can re-open and we will keep you informed. We are devastated that we will not be able to reopen with the rest of the industry. We will let everyone know through our website bowllongisland.com, social media channels, & email when we will be able to reopen our center. Hey guys I just got off a video conference call with Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone. I was lucky enough to speak to him and express my frustration on th...e current situation our Bowling Centers are in as far as being in phase 4 and how we are not even being spoken about. After the call I was given and email to shoot over information on what plans the bowling industry has for open up here in NY. I’m very frustrated like all of us and I will never stop fighting for bowling and of course my Family’s center. Attached is my video of me having a conversation with Mr Steve Bellone.
