Boys' & Girls' Towns of Italy is now called A Chance In Life!

Boys' & Girls' Towns of Italy 26.10.2020

Dear BGTI Facebook friends, As many of you know, Boys' & Girls' Towns of Italy has made many exciting new developments this past year. We expanded beyond the borders of Italy and became an international organization. We inaugurated Boys' & Girls' Towns of Ethiopia to provide a chance in life to over 400 children in one of the poorest countries in the world. To reflect our new global reach we are happy to announce that our organization has assumed the name of "A Chance In Lif...e," an expression very dear to our founder. The names of our overseas programs will continue to be the same: "Boys' & Girls' Towns of Italy" and "Boys' & Girls' Towns of Ethiopia." And our family of Towns will be growing soon! As we take this important step forward with you, we want to thank you for the generosity you have shown over the years. We are so grateful for your trust, loyalty and love for the children we serve. http://www.achanceinlife.org

At last weeks meeting of the Mercer County Italian American Festival, President John Scarpati presented Lauren Ross, BGTI's Director of Development, their annual donation check. For decades, Italian-Americans in the Mercer County area have been generous supporters of Boys' & Girls' Towns of Italy. We thank them for their continued support as BGTI expands and provides a chance in life to children internationally.
