Please refer to the attached image below for instructions and make sure to continue washing your hands with soap for 20 seconds prior to touching your teeth and any dental appliances in your mouth. In case your brackets or wires break, please utilize orthodontic wax to reduce any dis...comfort. If run out of wax, we can mail it out to you or you can get it at any local drugstore. We also want to assure you that a couple of broken brackets, wires or attachments won't jeopardize your overall treatment and we would be more than happy to fix them at your next appointment. We will be available via phone, email or FaceTime to provide guidance as needed. For orthodontics emergencies that cannot be resolved remotely, we will be available on an individual basis, in a highly controlled and sanitized environment. Dear Patients and Families of Braces & Smiles, In order to promote the safety and well-being of our patients and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made a very difficult decision to temporarily suspend seeing patients for the next two weeks as a safety precaution, beginning Wednesday, March 18th, 2020. As always, PATIENTS’ HEALTH is our TOP priority and this decision was inevitable in order to protect our patients and their families. We are very sorry fo...r any inconvenience caused by this. Our intention at this time is to reopen on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020, if it is safe to resume patient care at that point in time. We will reassess the situation in two weeks and we will make a determination regarding future appointments and necessary steps at that time. Meanwhile, please make sure to continue washing your hands with soap for 20 seconds prior to touching your mouth, brackets, elastics, aligners, retainers, expanders or any dental appliances in your mouth, so that you stay healthy.
