Friend, I hope you and your family are doing well during this crisis. Food insecurity has affected so many families in District 13. As such, I am proud to support a food giveaway tomorrow, February 23rd from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at the corner of Astor Ave & Boston Rd, Bronx, NY 10467. Please note, the food giveaway on Cruger Avenue that is held every Tuesday has been cancelled. Those who receive food at that location on Tuesdays can pick up a food box at the Astor Ave & Boston Rd... location. Food boxes will be given on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Please wear your masks and social distance upon arrival. One food box includes: 12 LBS fresh fruits & vegetables, 5 LBS dairy (yogurt, cheese), 1 GALLON milk, 5 LBS meat/poultry. Please do not hesitate to forward to a friend or neighbor and share within the community. We are in this crisis together and together we will get through it. "I just want to talk to my grandchildren" - ESL Student. Everlasting Church (Bronx, NY) teaches free ESL classes to members of their community. These classes me...et a huge need in NYC neighborhoods! Weekly sessions have also been an avenue for locals to be in community with Christians and experience the heart of Jesus although they may never have stepped foot into a Church service. #SendRelief #SendNetwork Everlasting Church Send NYC Send Relief
