We get this question all the time. This is not to say we are better or worse than a MD. We are just different. They get more pharmacology and we get more hands ...on spinal adjusting. Also internships matter. Required externship for a chiro is 6 months. MD can be 4 years. However, as a chirostudent you get the opportunity to intern during school in adjusting labs and can do and extra internship and more hours. So for example I did a double internship 1 yr and thousands of hours for 4 years in the labs adjusting people.
