Today I participated in one of the most consequential things in my lifetime. I visited Nazareth College and Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department and c...ompleted the paperwork and payment for an endowed scholarship in Carl Girard's name. This endowed scholarship will fund the education of theatre students who engage in social justice activities long after I am dead. I am proud and fortunate to be in a position to make this possible with the help of Bread & Water Theatre. Carl helped found the organization 20 years ago, worked on many productions and was a part of our initial board of directors. Thank you Carl for being there for me, being my friend and colleague. May your scholarship give help and support to students for years to come.
