A very special #WellnessWednesday shout out to Amy Boyle from Deputy Mayor Been’s office, and our very own Michael Rosen and the Breaking Ground Asset Management team! When we needed it most, these two teamed up with The Supportive Housing Network of New York to source and distribute PPE to #SupportiveHousing providers across NYC. Thank you! s from last week’s The Supportive Housing Network of New York gala.

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow. Thank you to our great friends at GothamOrg, Gotham West Market and La Palapa Cocina Mexicana for continuing to shine on our senior tenants with a freshly made meal every week! We are all feeling the warmth.
We’re getting very close to welcoming the first tenants at Edwin’s Place in Brownsville, Brooklyn with our partners African American Planning Commission, Inc. 126 units of supportive housing for individuals, veterans, and families. Can’t wait to welcome people home to this gorgeous, energy efficient, beautifully landscaped building! #SupportiveHousing #WeAreBreakingGround Design by the great Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
Yesterday, Karen and Marilyn from our Scatter Site Supportive Housing program - with help from Mike on our Asset Management team - suited up for fire safety inspections in tenant units across the city. COVID is still a risk, but not the only one. Thank you Karen and Marilyn for helping our clients stay safe in multiple ways! #COVID19Heroes #SupportiveHousing #WeAreBreakingGround
