Finally a break in the weather here in the frozen tundra. It has been a long cold winter. The Oak has not fished good for the past few months, Low water and many feet of bank ice. I have not seen any fresh fish since December. This week looks to be perhaps the start of good things to come. I am hoping we get some melt form the two to three feet of snow on the ground to push the bank ice out and bring some fresh steelhead in. shouldn't be long now for steelhead season to get cranking. I will keep you all posted
