The search for Elizabeth Garrow-McDonald resumed this morning. Elizabeth has been missing since September 23, 2020. She was last seen at the Dunkin Donuts on N.... Peterboro St in Canastota. At approximately 03:15 this morning the Bridgeport Fire Department along with mutual-aid companies were alerted to a possible garage fire on Rt 31 between Bull St and Oneida trail. Car 2(D/c Smith) arrived shortly after dispatch to find a 3 car, detached garage fully involved with extension to a second garage. Engine 4(Capt. Sager) arrived shortly after that securing a water supply and started extinguishing the fire. Engine 3 and Rescue 1 arrived minutes later and went to wo...rk. Crews had the fire under control after about an hour and were on scene for about 3 hours before clearing. On behalf of the chiefs and line officers they would like to thank all the mutual aid companies that responded: South Bay RP2 , Minoa L22, North Chittenango 665. And thank you to Chittenango Fire Department for standing by at our station while crews were out.

This morning at 0823 hrs we were dispatched mutual aid to Bridgeport for a possible structure fire on Route 298. E13 (Lt Alessandrello) responded. Bridgeport C1... arrived and confirmed active basement fire. E13 arrived 2nd due and laid in to the first due. E13’s crew assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. Other units onscene were Bridgeport C1, E3, R1, South Bay RP2, Fayetteville C1, E20 and East Syracuse E1. See more
