Abraham Lincoln Signed Presidential Appointment dated March 10, 1865. Lincoln appoints William Dart, an abolitionist, to District Attorney of New York. In addition to combating the Confederacy on the battlefield, Lincoln strategically placed opponents of slavery like William Dart within Government ranks to win the political fight. The condition of Lincoln's autograph is exceptional, still as dark and bold as the day it was signed! The condition of the appointment is also outs...tanding, it's bright white with dark printing. The original document still completely bears the Presidential Seal on the lower left corner too. (Typically, the Official Seals are the first part of the document to atrophy and fall off.) It's also countersigned by Secretary of State, William H. Seward who famously purchased Alaska in 1867 for $7 million (2 cents per acre!) He was ridiculed relentlessly and it wasn't until after his death that the US struck gold in the Klondikes. Outstanding piece of history signed just five weeks before Lincoln was tragically assassinated. #lincoln #sold #thehobby #collect #history #abrahamlincoln See more

Where do we start when speaking about Cy Young? First, every year Major League Baseball crowns the best pitcher from each league with the Cy Young Award, a tribute to the 1937 Hall of Famer. Over his 22-year career, Young won an incredible 511 games, a record that will never be broken. He won 30+ games in five different seasons and had the honor of pitching in, and winning, the very first modern World Series, when the American League Boston club faced the National League Pittsburgh club (led by Wagner). Cy Young's classic signature is necessary for any Hall of Fame collection, and this original Government Postcard features a gorgeous example, graded Near Mint - Mint 8 overall. @psaautograph

Why did John Hancock sign so large on The Declaration of Independence? As the story goes... a reward had been offered for his head by King George III. When Hancock boldly signed the Declaration, he rose from his seat and said, There, John Bull can read my name without spectacles, he may double his reward, and I put his at defiance. Unfortunately, this story is likely anecdotal, but today Hancock’s signature has become synonymous with patriotism and defiance in the face of tyranny! Easily, the most famous and important autograph in history. James Spence Authentication - JSA

Election season is upon us!! If you could vote any President from history to lead our Country in 2021 who would it be?? How about our 32nd President, FDR? He holds the distinguished honor of the longest tenured U.S. President, serving four terms from 1933-1945, and his time in office was eventful to say the least. After inheriting the worst economic depression in United States history to begin his first term, he was tasked with leading America through World War II to close ou...t his time in office. FDR will go down as one of the most influential leaders of all-time, and arguably the most important in our Nation's history. New item ! Franklin D Roosevelt Signed Official Government Engraving Print, c.1930s. PSA Mint 9!! Presented here is a gorgeous, mint condition Franklin Roosevelt signature featured on an oversized (11x14) official Government Print from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (c.1930s). Autographs featured on premium items such as photos or official Government prints are much more scarce and desirable especially when not personalized! Oversized 1960 JFK Campaign Poster, "A Time For Greatness- Kennedy for President" When it comes to Presidential memorabilia, John F. Kennedy's "A Time For Greatness" campaign poster is one of the most recognizable and iconic pieces. The handsome Kennedy profile along with the bold red-white-blue background offers perfect contrast and classic imagery. As the youngest man elected to the Oval Office, Kennedy’s popularity carries on from the 1960’s and continues to soar today as ...one of our most collected U.S. Presidents. Even in these polarizing times, his memorabilia is highly coveted by collectors on both sides of the political spectrum. Measuring 18.5" x 28.25", it's important to note that it's an oversized poster and therefore not nearly as common as the standard 13"x21" posters usually seen in the marketplace. The poster itself remains in excellent condition, which is tough to find since these posters were typically taped, pinned, and glued to windows, telephone poles, etc... When the election concluded, they were torn down and discarded, but some fans and collectors had the foresight to keep these special pieces and thankfully we can still enjoy them today. We absolutely love these bright and bold JFK campaign posters, and their display value cannot be overstated! #jfk #kennedy #camelot #potus #president #timeforgreatness #1960 #presidentialcampaign #donaldtrump #joebiden #usa #redwhiteandblue #collect #americana #originalposter

1862 Abraham Lincoln Signed Presidential Appointment! The Great Emancipator is one of the most sought after Presidential autographs in the hobby, and this beautiful Civil War-dated document does not disappoint! Signed by Lincoln in Washington D.C. on February 21st 1862, the official document appointed a Union Captain to the 14th Regiment of Infantry of the U.S. Army. The lower right bears Lincoln's full-name signature, as opposed to the more common "A. Lincoln" version. In ad...dition to Lincoln's rare autograph, the appointment is countersigned by Secretary of War, Edwin M. Stanton, and Army General Lorenzo Thomas. Also featured are two gorgeous vignettes and the blue War Department Seal, which is completely intact. The condition of the document itself is excellent, showing just minor aging while maintaining its original luster. Lincoln's autograph is still dark and legible (7-8 strength), which is rare for Civil War era documents. Elegantly paired with an original oversized engraving of Lincoln (10"x 15") from the 1860’s, it has been gorgeously framed in a display measuring 38.5" x 30". The document itself measures 14 x 18 and has been meticulously preserved for the last 158 years. It is guaranteed to impress everyone who lays eyes on it, and the perfect addition to any true historical collection! It's no secret that Lincoln autographs are scarce, but recently we are noticing they're becoming increasingly difficult to obtain, and thus values are beginning to rise. We especially seek out official U.S. documents like this, due to the full-name style signature and historical significance. #AbrahamLincoln #sold

Lew Alcindor AKA Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Rookie Card, 1969 Topps. Kareem officially changed his name in 1971 after winning his first of six NBA Championships. I love reading the backs of old cards: The phenom turned pro for estimated 5 year, $1,250,000. At UCLA, was 3-time All-America. Scored 2,325 pts. (26.4 avg.), hit record 63.9% of field goals and led Bruins to three straight NCAA titles. #towerofpower #sgc

Will another US President ever serve more than 2 terms like FDR?? #22ndamendment Franklin D. Roosevelt's time in office was certainly eventful, to say the least. After inheriting the worst economic depression in United States history to begin his tenure in 1933, he was tasked with leading America through World War II to close out his final term. FDR will go down as one of the most influential leaders of all-time, and served the longest Presidential term (four) during one of ...the most important times in our nation's history. Franklin Roosevelt reamins one of our most popular presidential autographs, along with is distant cousin Theodore. Offered here is a gorgeous autograph display featuring the FDR's bold signature in blue fountain ink on clean, white paper. #sold #fdr #franklinroosevelt #roosevelt #autograph #potus #president #donaldtrump #thehobby #collect #autographs #collection #usa #signature

John D. Rockefeller (1839-1937) is the richest person in modern history, with an inflation-adjusted net worth over $400 Billion. (3-4 times wealthier than Jeff Bezos!!!) Rockefeller founded the Standard Oil Company in 1870, and by 1882, Standard Oil Company and its affiliates combined to form Standard Oil Trust. As one of America's most important and influential business magnates, Rockefeller's autograph is highly sought after by the hobbyists. His name appears alongside his ...wealthy counterparts Andrew Carnegie and J. Pierpont Morgan, all of whom significantly influenced American business, industry, regulation, and wealth management. We never miss a chance to own one of these his signatures, especially a full name style like this. (He mostly signed JD Rockefeller). It's the perfect talking piece, and a source of inspiration for any office! See more
