Brighton Presbyterian Church 01.11.2021

We recently had a website re-design (shout out to DL Church Websites!). Our radio program is now available on our website as a podcast. Each podcast centers on a Sunday morning message and includes music and some familiar voices from BPC (other than Pastor Tim and Kerry :)). We are excited to continue in this broadcast ministry to share the Gospel in Upstate New York and beyond!

"They aren't busy; they're busybodies." Ouch. The Apostle Paul doesn't mince words about some people who had given up and stopped working. Pastor Tim dives into 2 Thess. 3:6-15 tomorrow at 9:15 am. Tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 16) at 7 pm in the Historical Room, we begin our new study on the book of Psalms (please park in the back and ring the bell at the back door--masks are required, and we can supply one if you forget to bring one). The psalms are a treasured compilation of hymns and prayers used in worship for well over two millennia (the oldest psalm is #90, attributed to Moses; it is possibly 3,500 years old). We will look at their purpose, how they were compiled and intentionally arranged, the different types, etc., and how the Israelites used them. For tomorrow's study: please come with your bible and have your favorite psalm in mind, and please share with the class why that particular psalm is meaningful to you. All are welcome to attend! Message us with any questions!
