A thought from one of our @broadwaybabysitters Caroline who has been teaching private virtual lessons throughout this pandemic. We are so lucky to have the best sitters who also happen to be the most talented performers and most generous teachers.

DID YOU KNOW: *A 2019 federal government report found that schools designated under No Child Left Behind with higher percentages of minority students were more likely to experience decreases in funding spent on arts education. *New brain research shows that not only does music improve skills in math and reading, but it promotes creativity, social development, personality adjustment, and self-worth.... *Music programs are constantly in danger of being cut from shrinking school budgets even though they're proven to improve academics. Just some food for thought today. Early arts education for children is imperative to brain development and cognitive learning skills. We must keep the arts alive. Like if you agree.
