Need some self-care between rallies and protests? There's still time to register for our healing workshop this Saturday, at SHAKTIBARRE! Taught by an acupuncturist and psychotherapist. Register here: http://tinyurl.com/hnwoqdg We will have meditation, acupuncture, yoga, and more, all focusing on experiencing and developing a healthy relationship with the first chakra. ... A healthy and grounded first chakra is extremely needed right now in our unstable political climate. We designed this workshop to help you to get in touch with its energies, and to learn how to use them for your benefit. Investment: $40 (If cost is an issue for you, we have sliding scale prices of $10 and $20) We hope to see you there!

In addition to private treatments, I'm now offering community acupuncture! I'm excited to announce that Taganyahu Swaby and I have just opened a part-time community acupuncture clinic in my neighborhood of Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn. The first day is this Wednesday! $25 for anyone with EBT or Medicaid/Medicare, and $40 for anyone else.... We're offering affordable acupuncture, a regular stress and addiction clinic, and qigong classes a few times a week. All services will be held at the gorgeous Minka Center for Wellness and Holistic Living, right off the Q/B Prospect Park subway. Ever since I got back to New York in December, I have been feeling called to one project more than any other, and that has been finding a way to offer acupuncture and other healing services to my neighborhood in a way that would be affordable, accessible, and empowering for as many people as possible. With the help of lots of great people, it is quite cool to see this all actually come together! Our mission is to break down the barriers between us and anyone who needs help. There are a lot, and we don't have control over all of them, but this is a first step toward offering affordable health services that can help people find their way out of pain, chronic health conditions, anxiety, life stress, and so much more. And of course I'm continuing my private practice and always accepting new clients :) So please send people our way! We can't wait to help.
