Brooklyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing 12.01.2021

As reported in the Brooklyn Patch, here is the wonderful story of Pedro Trejo, who was bedridden with severe symptoms of Covid-19. With the help of Brooklyn Center as well as his brother and cousin, he is on the road to recovery. It's a heartwarming story of family, community and commitment. https://patch.com///surviving-covid-19-help-brother-cousin

The Brooklyn Patch honors Centers veterans. 75 year-old Carl Cohen, who served as a motorman with the US Army during the Vietnam War, is a resident at Boro Park Center. Naford C. Holston, 73, served in the US Air Force in Vietnam and is now a resident at Concord Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. 88-year-old Andrew Hill, also a resident at Concord Nursing & Rehabilitation, served in the US Army during the Korean War. 77 year-old US Army Veteran Robert Williams served in the Vie...tnam War for one tour and is now a resident at Brooklyn Center. Robert Taylor, also a resident at Brooklyn Center, was drafted into the US Army during the 1970s, at the height of the Vietnam War. Gentlemen, we salute you--as well as all the men and women who have served in the US armed forces--on this Veterans Day. https://patch.com//brooklyn-vets-honored-local-nursing-hom #CentersHealthCare #CentersHeroes #StrongerTogether

On October 28th, Centers Health Care held a recreation summit at its headquarters in the Bronx. Recreation Directors from facilities throughout the continuum were in attendance. Practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings, the team learned about new policies, listened to guest speakers, and enjoyed activities such as meditation and painting. #CentersHealthCare #Recreation #StrongerTogether
