Broome County GIS and Mapping Services

2018 aerial photos have been added to the Parcel Mapper. The images were captured in May of 2018 and are provided by New York State. These will now be the default photo layer in the Parcel Mapper, replacing the 2014 photos. http://www.bcgis.com/website/apps/parcel_mapper/viewer.html

A 239 Review is a State law that requires local municipalities to send certain projects to the County Planning Department for review and comment. The intent of ...the law is to identify actions that might have inter-municipal and countywide impacts. Broome County GIS and Mapping Services recently created a feature in the parcel mapper that allows users to view archived 239 reviews. This allows users to see if their property may be subject to a 239 Review, and view comments from previous projects. You just click on a parcel, click Parcel Details, and under Planning Information you can select the Most Recent Review, or Prior Reviews.
