Premiering an underground competition designed to showcase talented and gifted artist who want to express themselves through song...bringing about a spiritual, social, and political change in our community. All styles of singing and rapping are welcomed including duos ... 2 performance rounds ... Round 1: Artist are permited upto 3 1/2 minutes to perform after which 2 top artist will be selected. Round 2: Artist are permited upto 5 1/2 minutes to perform after which a winner is presented $500.00 All artists competing on the day of the event (September 23), please contact Brother Will facebook @brotherwills 917-775-3430 or my assistant Soncarae Martin facebook @[email protected] 646-479-0704. in order to register. Artists who do not register by September 22nd will be required to pay a $20 fee, Competetitors will be judged on singing/rapping technique and overall performance. if you have your own beats or music which you will be using to accompany you, or any questions concerning music please contact DJ Vern 917-376-7123 [email protected] or message me directly. Competition will take place on 41 Saint Nicholas Terrace 4th floor. Also featuring some of Brother Will's signature dishes: jerk chicken, jerk shrimp, and coconut curry shrimp dinners, served along side baked mac n cheese, rice and peas, spicy greens, cornbread and deserts.
