Big Tree Maple

Today we received our main shipment of maple syrup jugs. We now have a good supply for our own use and some for sale to others! Let us know if you’re interested.

The recent warm temperatures gave us some of the Dark color Robust flavor syrup. It is now available on line and at the sugar house! Look for the sticker on the cap.

Beautiful day and the sap is running well! Walking the woods checking the tubing system over.

We bottled some Golden color/ delicate flavor syrup today. If you prefer the very light colored early run syrup it is now available! Stop in!

Monday March 1. First steam of the 2021 season! Plenty of time left to make a full crop!

Busy day in the woods! First above freezing temps in over a month. We were able to start our vacuum pumps and start to leak check our tubing system. Check out this major leak we found...looks like a rifle bullet (deer hunter) grazed a mainline, a first for us. Shoveled nearly 30" of snow off a pump house roof. Notice the snow around the tree bases, we won't get much of a sap run until that recedes. Felt great to see the sun today and make some progress in the woods!
