To celebrate the start of early voting, registered voters are invited to join a kick-off rally at 3297 Bailey Avenue on Saturday, October 24. Our partners at Gloria J. Put your painting skills to use by joining BCAT's public art mural class. You'll work alongside leading WNY muralists as you transform the look of Goodwill of Western New York's training facility, inside of an Erie County building downtown, and make a mural for bringing awareness of mental health at Horizon Health Services. As a muralist in this class you won't just enhance your art skills, you'll leave your artistic mark for all of Buffalo to see. Come in, find inspiration. Our partners at Arts Services Inc. - ASI created the Creative Professionals Exchange (CPX) to bring together individual artists and arts administrators to begin discussions about relevant issues and trends in the arts. This year's conference theme of Reimagining the Creative Industry will take a deep dive into how the arts can help support those communities that have been devastatingly impacted by COVID and left behind, while ensuring all art is accessible to and representative of the entire community we live in. BCAT's own youth arts and technology director, Brandi Cane will share her ideas on creating access to arts education through collaboration. Register at the link below:
