Dear Community, As I sit in the church after a long weekend. I can honestly say that I am exhausted, but in a good way. Christmas is about feeding each other hope, peace, joy and love to each other. I witnessed it at the 15th annual tree lighting yesterday in Barryville and through the BUMC family. I just want to say to the Barryville commmunity, BUMC and other communities. THANK YOU so much for your hospitaliy and welcoming spirit towards myself and my family. We have only b...een here almost for 6 months and my family and I are the happiest we have ever been. It is a testament to a present God who was already here before we arrived. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL DURING THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON! Thanks for simply just being who you all are. This weekend our children at BUMC have been telling the Barryville community that Jesus is the reason for the season. They have sung, colored and soon will do a play. They are practicing for their play on Dec. 20th on "The Three Trees." We are so proud of our kids!
