It’s no surprise that the 2020 CALS Global Fellows Program (GFP) looked quite different this year. In March, the CALS GFP was already in the midst of beginning the first component of the three-part program when Covid-19 changed the course of the program entirely. As Covid-19 changed the travel landscape, the CALS GFP team quickly shifted the program to a virtual experience. Each year we look forward to engaging with our fellows throughout their summer experiences abroad. Thi...s year was no different. Students completed their online assignments and reflected on working globally, remotely. Now, as we wrap up the 2020 program and wrap up International Education Week, we’d like to take this time to highlight the winners of our annual photo contest. Although were unable to host in-person voting with members of the CALS community, the opportunity allowed for Jess and Andrea to work together on choosing the winners after a long, but successful journey to adapting the CALS Global Fellows Program to a virtual experience. The theme of course, was Working Globally, Remotely and students submitted to three separate categories Best workplace, Most creative depiction of your work., and Favorite co-worker. Congratulations to our cohort for completing your summer internships, while navigating new waters and a new way of working, and congratulations to our photo contest winners! #IEW2020
