Thank you to the Cambria Pack/Troop 8 Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts for continuing to support CARE-n-SHARE Food Pantry & our community! They hosted a drop off food d...rive earlier today where they collected LOTS of food & personal care items for our small rural pantry! Thanks to everyone who made this possible! We are lucky to have such a giving community and a group of outstanding young men who are willing to serve others! See more

Scouts Troop/Pack 8 Drive-in Scouting for Food Saturday, June 6 from 9AM until Noon Pack 8 and Troop 8 Cambria Fire Hall, 4631 Cambria-Wilson Road, Lockport, NY 14094. On Saturday, June 6th, Cub Scout Packs and Scouts BSA Troops in many areas of Niagara/Orleans County will station themselves in local parking lots where residents can drive by and donate non-perishable items to local food pantries. County residents are urged to prepare a bag or box of canned goods, pasta, jarred sauces and other non-perishables, then drive to the location listed above. A friendly Cub Scout or Scouts BSA member wearing a mask will receive your donation and then deliver it to their local food pantry. Residents are also asked to donate new personal hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant and the like.

It was a great weekend for winter/cabin camping!

Cambria Boy Scout Troop 8 21.10.2020

Our Scouts competed in the ITC annual klondike this past weekend. The scouts and leaders had a tremendous weekend in what some would call questionable weather. They all stayed dry, warm, and fed. We were the only troop to tent camp Saturday night as everyone else headed home or set up in a lodge. In addition, we took overall 1st place for the skill events and 2nd in the sled race. Truly a proud moment for Troop 8, and a life memory for the boys. They thought they could, and they did; we only had 7 scouts (Jeffrey, Kaz, Andrew, Nick, Brandon, Griffin and Quinn).
