Help us revitalize our Main Street through outdoor recreation! The Village of Cambridge was selected by the EPA to receive assistance through a program that will help develop a plan to support the local economy through outdoor recreation. The plan will be based on community input. There will be a series of public sessions between 9/21 and 9/29 (schedule is below) to get that input. Please register to attend the sessions. If you can only attend one or two, please attend the opening and/or the closing. Not only will low impact forestry be practiced in the Cambridge Community Forest, but also demonstrated for the public! You can expect classes throughout the year on responsibly maintaining forest land.

Update! We are pleased to have received a generous grant from the Charles R. Wood Foundation to build a sensory trail in the CCF. We can’t wait to start on a half mile trail with wind chimes, blackberries, sweet smelling perennials and more!

The Cambridge Community Forest spans a 140-acre wooded property with endless opportunities for public use, including: - Trails for walking, hiking and mountain biking - Fishing on the White Creek and bird watching - Outdoor educational programs - Gathering place and picnic spot... - Demonstration site for sustainable forestry practices We can't wait to open to the public later this year (fingers crossed!)
