Happy New Year to all of our wonderful community members! The library will be open for Curbside Service on Saturday January 2, from 10-2!
The library will be closed December 24th and 25th. We reopen Saturday December 26th at 10:00 AM for Curbside Services. Happy Holidays to all!!

Grab a FREE Take and Make kit for your kiddo (or inner kiddo) Curbside at the library!! Make your own ornaments, learn about the history of the Christmas Tree, color the Kinara for Kwanzaa and make your own Menorah for Hanukkah! This kit has it all, plus a holiday for surprise our youngest patrons! However you celebrate, the library wants to wish you a Happy and Healthy Holiday season!!
As the cold weather moves in, the Cambridge Public Library is taking additional steps to increase the safety of our Staff and our beloved Patrons.
COMING SOON!!!! Today we received a variety of STEM activities from a very generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous! While we miss having all of our kiddos here at the library learning and creating with us, we are so excited to be able to offer Take Home STEM Activity kits. Remember, we are living history and someday someone may read your experiences about the year 2020!!
Don't forget new hours start tomorrow!! Wednesday, Friday and Saturday the library building will be open for browsing, and other in-person services. Some important reminders: *Masks are REQUIRED to enter the building and must be worn properly at all times. *If you cannot wear a mask for ANY reason please contact the Library Director and we will work out reasonable accommodations to serve you. *Building capacity will be restricted with no more than 10 individuals inside the bu...ilding at one time. *Use of a library computer will require an appointment. Computer use will be limited to 30 minutes per appointment with a 15 minute interval for cleaning and disinfecting. *A library staff member can be contacted during OPEN hours by calling the library at 518-677-2443 or by emailing the Library Director at [email protected]. ***Please be patient with the staff and your community members as we begin the next steps of this process. Cambridge Public Library is taking the next steps in our reopening process! Beginning July 27th the library will be operating under new hours with Curbside Service ONLY on Monday from 10-2 and Tuesday/Thursday from 2-5. Limited browsing, computer use, and other in-building services will be available Wednesday 3-7 and Friday/Saturday 10-2. Some important things to note: * Masks are REQUIRED to enter the library building and must be worn properly while inside the building. If ...you cannot wear a mask for ANY reason please contact the library and reasonable accommodations will be made to meet your needs. *Occupancy of the library will be limited to 10 people at a time. *Due to occupancy restrictions only 2 public computers will be available at this time, by appointment only. *Fax, copy, and print services will be available. *The library is not open for social gatherings or nonessential meetings at this time. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us during our open hours at 518-677-2443, or email [email protected]. *Please note that if you call the library when we are not open, you will reach a fax machine.
