Here is the link to yesterday's (March 28, 2021) worship service. We still have some kinks to work out. Near the end the slide cuts off the pastor's head. Likewise, the sound during the worship music needs to be adjusted the represent what we actually hear in-person. We're getting there. Thank you for your patience. The expectation is that the live-steam will happen as it should for the Easter worship service.

Just working with Miranda and Sam on the mix of songs for Thursday night’s Concert of Prayer. I am looking forward to our time together. I am praying that God will direct many to join us at this critical time in America. It is time to worship and pray. Not just during our Concert of Prayer, but everyday right where you are. May our time together Thursday night energize and signal a revival of prayer in our communities.

I was really blessed by the message offered by our guest speaker, Pastor Chris Arcadi. Speaking from Luke 18:1-8 Chris challenged and encouraged us to seek the presence and power of God. In God's presence is the power. Thank you Chris!

This Sunday is UNITY PRAYER Sunday, when churches around Western New York join together for a common purpose; to join our hearts together seeking God's power in this nation. To look inward first that we might allow revival to begin with us and then to seek after the Almighty God, that he might heal our nation and the world he has placed us in. Pastor Chris Arcadi will be our guest speaker. His message text will be from Luke 18:1-8. We will rejoice in music and reflection as we prayer together and watch what God will do.

We are so blessed to have Miranda and Samantha Clark lead our worship music. With their voices, a guitar and piano they help to draw us into God’s presence. I know I am blessed every time. To God be the glory!

At Canal Town Community Church, we decided we want to be a praying church. Not just a praying church...a church that believes in the power of prayer. I was just reminded how easy it is to discount God and the power of prayer. Monday morning I was leaving my house around 4:00 a.m. for a bike ride (the human powered kind). As I was peddaling, I noticed how wet the streets were from the rain. Then it started to rain again. Just spitting and sputtering at first. I lifted u...p a brief prayer. Something like. "Lord, please stop the rain while I'm riding." The rain started to pick up a bit more. Then I prayed, "Lord, I don't want to get wet. Please stop the rain...but you're in charge." It looked like it was picking up some more and I started to think about turning back. As I considered it, I said, no, let this be my step in faith and kept riding. It was at that time the rain stopped. I was thanking God, but even then I started thinking, maybe it was just a concidence. As I rode I found myself struggling to accept that God answered my prayer. How foolish of me! I felt like the man who wondered if Jesus could really heal his son in a miraculous way. "Anything is possible for those who believe," Jesus said. The man's reply? "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" That's my prayer! We will pray for our community, for our nation, for our loved ones and for all who need a touch from God. Watch what happens! To God be the glory! See more

Given the recent reminder of racial issues in America, I think these words (and song) from Wintley Phipps are significant. Listen to to whole thing when you have time. I think you'll be glad you did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNuQbJst4Lk

So sorry that our Facebook live attempts have not worked well. Hope to invest in some better equipment to make this work. Hang in there! We will improve.
