The Cancer Services Program Of Nassau County was present to assist yesterday at the Belmont vaccination pod provided by Northwell. It was a great day in the community, over 1,500 individuals seen!!

Minority populations have lower cancer screening rates for many reasons, like, having jobs that don’t offer health insurance or sick time, and the COVID-19 pandemic has created even more barriers. Even now, it’s important to stay up to date with breast, cervical and colon cancer screening to find cancer early when treatment may work best. Uninsured?
