Wow, CTL019 will likely be the first gene therapy approved for Cancer in the U.S.! Mostly Children and young adults with "ALL" that has not responded to treatment could be helped or possibly cured-- I'm all for that! However, that's about 15% of all 5000 cases of ALL (roughly 750 patients), and it costs $300,000! It doesn't always work, it almost killed the first little girl that received it, etc. It "could" be opening a door for ALL cancers to be treated with gene therapy, b...ut should we all wait around for the next big gene therapy to come out ??? There were 1,685,000+ people dx with cancer in 2015 and AGAIN in 2016. Those people can take control of a LARGE piece of their healing if someone not only tells them the best tools and strategies to stop cancer, but also SHOWS them how to build that information into a lifestyle they can stick with. If you've been diagnosed, you're doctor can do a lot...you have to do the rest.I would love to show you how.
