I am trying to put together a community event for April or May- I want to get families of children with all disabilities together for some fun activities, socialization and support each other . We are currently working toward funding to become a non-profit organization. After that, we will be reaching out to possible sponsors in our area to make our vision come true. I am looking into grants and funding to purchase property and create a community center serving individuals and families with a disability. My goal is to get seniors in our area, veterans and students involved as mentors and support.
