brick and mortar still matters?! two brands reported lower than expected earnings, and some say it proves the continued importance of physical store space. i've purchased more online over the past 3 months than i did over previous 20 years - i just don't dig online buying of most stuff. but coronavirus changed my attitude.... i think the demise in brick and mortar retail reflects market saturation, more than a unique market advantage of online shopping. yes, online shopping is convenient, but it lacks the experiential qualities enjoyed when walking through a store or mall. anyway, the real point of me sharing this article was to connect it to the previous article i shared re: stock valuation. in this article three analysts give nike stock price targets of $100, $110, and $130 respectively. that's the market ladies and gentlemen. nike sold off on friday falling to $94 and change, but is valued over a $30 range. so what's nike worth? like i said in my previous post - it's worth what someone will pay for it.
