Contractors need to come and pick up their orders, residential customers need to come into the showroom to consult with designers and select their preferred products from cabinets and sinks to toilets, tubs and showers. At least, that’s how it worked at Capitol District Supply pre-COVID. Capitol District Supply is #Back2Business.

**A Snow Emergency Has Been Declared in the City of #Albany Beginning Friday, December 18 at 8:00 AM.** Learn more about Snow Emergency rules here: https://bit....ly/AlbanySnowDec17 I have also directed all City Buildings to close Thursday. Reports originally anticipated today’s snow storm would conclude early this morning, however the late shift in weather patterns have extended the duration of the storm well into the early afternoon, and has already led to significantly higher than expected snowfall totals. City of Albany Department of General Services employees have been working around the clock since the first snow fell, however the rapid increase in snowfall over the last several hours has made travel especially difficult. Please stay off the roads and allow our DGS crews the space needed to safely and efficiently clear the snow.

The end of the year is traditionally a time both for reflection and planning for the future. This year, which brought both unprecedented challenges and unexpected opportunities, this exercise is more important than ever. At Capitalize Albany, we are taking inventory of 2020 while looking ahead with excitement to what 2021 will bring. In spite of the difficulties we have collectively faced over the past 12 months, it was an extremely productive year. That’s thanks to the tireless dedication of our staff and volunteer board, as well as the continued support of our many stakeholders, economic development partners, City and state officials. #BuildingAlb2020 #Albany
