Less than 50 days to go people, we MUST GET COUNTED. What’s at stake? Plenty! Held once every 10 years, the results of the U.S. census determine the destination of billions in federal aid for education, public transportation and highways, and even political representation in Congress. Our Communities can lose billions of dollars and seats in Congress with undercounts in the census. Tky for the reminder Brooklyn Borough Prez Eric Adams! https://myemail.constantcontact.com/With-less-than-50-days-

We applaud the work of Senator Kamala Harris on her #Momnibus bill https://blackmaternalhealthcaucus-underwood.house.gov/Momni. ‘It is time we take a serious look at why our Black mothers and infants are dying at such alarming rates. At CWHA we see firsthand that Black women in East Flatbush are at higher risk for poor maternal outcomes due to inadequate access to quality, culturally-sensitive, comprehensive, affordable pre and postnatal care. This decline in successful Black Maternal health outcomes also has a severe impact on Black infant mortality rates‘, says Cheryl Hall Executive Director, Caribbean Women’s Health Association.
