Carmans River Historic Waterfront Retreat

Sunset on the dock, glass of rose in hand, is our favorite moment of the day.

We absolutely love living on Carmans River. Amazing views, in addition to all turtles, swans, ducks, and egrets who share the river with us.

This lovely home has four upstairs bedrooms, including a master with a view of the property, fireplace, and beautiful bathroom with a soaking tub. The downstairs includes a large sitting room with fireplace, a parlor with 55" Samsung HD4K television, good sized dining room, and cozy eat-in kitchen with gas range, spilling out to a covered back porch with rocking chairs and brick patio with dining table and barbecue. There is a six person hot tub heated to 103 degrees on the patio where you can watch the fireflies at dusk. The basement includes a gym with new treadmill, stationary bike, free weights, pull-up station, bench, plenty of room for yoga, and large laundry room.

The lush grounds include several large grassy areas, and multiple unique structures, including the original outhouse, restored chicken coop, and designer cottage once featured on the cover of Martha Stewart Living, perfect for entertaining.

Our favorite part of the property. Ready to relax along with our river friends: the swans, ducks, blue herons, even a beaver! The Boat House has a table and chairs, perfect for coffee and breakfast, and a mini fridge, so snacks and wine in the evening is easy to do.
