We will be open 1-3 tomorrow. (Wednesday 3/10). I will be putting curbside items out front near the sidewalk. There will be toys, glassware, and other household items that we just don’t have room for. Please come take what you want then stop inside for your free clothing. We are located at 70 Mansion St. Coxsackie.

The Carpenter Shop Outreach Center exists to help people in need of a helping hand. We are here for those that have lost their possessions in a fire or flood, domestic violence survivors, new parents, instant Foster parents, those that have lost their jobs, those that have relocated, and anyone who just may need a smile and a little bit of help. Please spread the word. We are trying to help as many people as we can get through the hard times. If you can’t make it on Wednesdays from 1-3 while we are open, just send us a message and we’ll make other arrangements. We’ll even deliver to those that don’t drive. Please share and help get the word out!

Does anyone have a dresser in decent condition that they can part with?

Sometimes you get donations that are so special that it really warms your heart. Such is the beautiful hats and scarves that came from Greene County Human Services Senior Volunteers. They are absolutely gorgeous! You can tell so much love and care went into every home made stitch.

If anyone is in need of winter hats we have them thanks to a generous donation from Greene County Human Services volunteers. Men’s, women’s and children’s all beautifully hand made. Stop by and see us on Wednesday 1-3 pm.

We desperately need pants hangers. (Not coat hangers). We are completely out of Newborn girls clothing, 0-3 month girls clothing, boys sizes 12, 14, 16, 18, and men’s jeans waist sizes 29, 30, & 32. We have been helping so many people because of your donations. Clothing does not need to be new, just clean, and free of rips, stains, holes, etc. I live by, If I wouldn’t wear it or put it on my loved one, I won’t put it out on the rack for others.

Is anyone in need of a stove? It works. The ambulance was gifted new appliances and is looking to give this away. First come first serve in front of the Coxsackie Ambulance building.

We are in need of a Girls size 12/14 winter coat. The little girl really likes purple but will take anything.

Due to Covid, several of the dinners normally held in Greene County on Thanksgiving will not be taking place. We will be preparing and delivering meals to tho...se in need from throughout the county, and are currently recruiting volunteers and soliciting donations. Please help spread the word!! The Carpenter Shop Outreach Center will be open tomorrow (Wednesday) from 1-3. We are in need of pants hangers, newborn girls clothes, and size 0-3 months boys clothes. If you would like to volunteer, please send us a message. The more volunteers we have, the more hours we can be open to serve our community. If you are in need and cannot make it to us on Wednesdays please send us a message and other arrangements can be made. I can also drop off clothing items to local shut-ins if they cannot get here.

We had an amazing day at the Outreach today!!! Thank you to all our volunteers who helped get the Summer stuff put away and a lot of our Fall/Winter stuff out. We also helped so many families today! That’s a really awesome feeling!

We are open again!!! Not that we ever took a break from helping those in need, we just did it a little differently . Our hours are Wednesday’s 1-3. If you have an emergency need, an appointment can be made for a different day and/or time. In order to continue to serve our community we are required to ask you to wear a mask. We have hand sanitizer available. Only 1 family is allowed in to browse at a time simply because we have a very small space. We have tons of beautiful clothing looking for a home and everything is absolutely free.

We are in need of little girls size 0-3 month clothing for a new mommy who’s little one was quite a bit bigger than what she was supposed to be. Please message us if you can help out.

The Carpenter Shop helps local community members who may need a helping hand with clothing. We also network when there is a need for dishes, furniture, and other household items. We are all volunteer and everything we provide is free of charge. We accept monetary donations which are used solely to provide needed things for the center (clothing racks, storage, etc) or to purchase things for someone in need that we might not have on hand. We accept donations of new and gently used clothing. Currently our biggest need is children & baby clothes and men’s jeans. Please message us if you would like to donate or if you would like to volunteer. We are in the process of changing our Winter stuff out and bringing in our Spring & Summer stuff. This is always a big undertaking and many hands make light work.

We have 2 different families in need. Family 1: A soon to be mom who is having a baby and he is apparently making his appearance sooner then planned she is still in need of some items for him but with the holidays and not orginally expecting him till after the holidays she just needs a little help.... she is in need of the flowing items for this little man before he arrives: Winter clothing sizes 0-3 and 3-6 months ( he is looking to be big but some times the ultra sound m...akes them look bigger) baby bottles baby blankets baby monitor baby swing Family 2- a female who has found herself starting over. The Outreach will be doing a children's coat drive starting next week until further notice, let's help the children in our community stay warm, new or gently used. We have exciting news!!! In addition to our Wednesday hours, we will now be open on Mondays 1:00-4:00.

The Outreach has never been in better shape thanks to all of our amazing volunteers over the last few weeks. Our winter stuff is in storage, our summer stuff is out. We are finally all cleaned up after our winter flood and we are so excited to be able to help out so many people. Please come visit us on Wednesday’s from 1:00-3:00 or message us if you are in need and can’t come see us during those times. We are always looking for volunteers so we can expand our hours.

We will be opening at 1:00 tomorrow (Wednesday). We are planning to stay open for an extended period of time to get all of our summer stuff out. If you are interested in helping, we would love to have you.
