Spring is here and Easter is just around the corner! So for our Storytime craft kit this week we have these adorable Spring Chickens. Kits are for ages 1 - 1st grade and available for pickup during our normal business hours. There is a limit of 3 per family.

We have great news! Starting April 1st our programs will be in person! Masks will be required and all safety protocols will be followed. Be sure to check out one of our programs: Storytime - every Wed 10:30 AM -11:30 AM for ages 1 - 1st grade... Teen Group - 2nd and 4th Wed of the month from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM for ages 12 - 18 Reading with Rhea - 2nd and 4th Thurs of the month for prek - 6th grade Book Club - 2nd Wed of the month at 6:00 PM Make & Take Craft - 3rd Sat of the month from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM for all ages Seniors' Social - 4th Thurs of the month from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM for ages 60 and up See you there!

Hey teens! Come and pick up your Among Us Origami Kits on Monday! We are doing curbside but come pick up and join us virtually on Wednesday at 5pm to get the code and join the game!

Are your kids struggling with school due to the new changes? Are you a home school family and need some help with certain subjects? We have tutoring available!! Just give the library a call and schedule an appointment with our tutor.

Reading with Rhea and Friends is back!!

Looking for help from our crafty patrons. The Friends of the Carthage Free Library usually does a pie sale fundraiser but due to Covid-19 they are unable to have this event. We have come up with a new idea for their fundraiser and will be having a Holiday Silent Auction. We will be promoting this as a Shop Local, Shop Safe event and would like to have items that people could purchase as Christmas gifts. This is where our crafter/vendor friends come in to play. We know th...at you all have been affected by Covid as well and have been unable to attend all your usual craft shows. We are looking for donations for our silent auction and in return for your support we will promote your business. It will be much like how we promoted everyone that donated to our raffle. There will be spotlights and we will share your FB page or webpage. If you are interested please let us know. There is a flyer below that talks more about the event. When you make a donation, we just need you to fill out the bottom of the flyer and return it with the item to the library. If you are unable to do so and need one of us to pick the item up please message us. Thank you for your consideration and we hope to help you all for helping us. See more
